Graduation Ceremony May 8th.

I officially graduated in December, but I was able to walk with all my friends from school. It made it feel more real! I had an amazing day. My parents had a BBQ for me and we had tons of people over for drinks and food. I am so proud of all my friends.

Manuel P Vigil

I started a new job at the University of DeVry on April 13th. That same week on Wednesday April 15th Matt’s dad passed away. I was getting ready for work and Matt’s mom called and said that there was something wrong with dad and hung up the phone. Matt hurried and left the house to go to his mom’s and I went to work, since it was my first week. I later received a call when I got to work from my sister in law, Monica, telling me that Manuel wasn’t breathing and that I needed to come to the hospital. So I left work, and drove straight over there. My father in law passed away from a massive heart attack. It has been extremely hard on Matt. Each day has gotten better, but I could never imagine losing my parents. I just wanted to tell everyone thanks for all your support and kindness during this time. I feel so bad for Mama Pat, Matt’s mom, she and Manuel were attached at the hip. Anyways, if anything Manuel’s death only brought us closer as a family.

A good day!

Today has been a really good one, work went by fast, I went shopping with Matt to buy our friend Tori and Beth a baby gift, bought Miley some toys and a new collar.
relaxed at my folks and starting reading Twilight.

Matt also got a job. YAH! I plan to go to Wendover...:)Once we start making some mula.

I really love the book Twilight. I started reading it today, I know I am way behind everyone else, but I never have time. If anyone has read it, let me know? How did it compare to the movie? My sister has read them and she tells me about all the books. I am weird like that, most people don't want to know what happens but I just have to know before I spend time reading it. Matt and I lay in bed and listen to my sister tell us about the differnt books. It's like she is my own personal story teller. Matt and I are excited to get the next part of the book tonight and listen to Cristal. As soon as I post this, that is what we plan to do.

On Monday Matt and I bought an excercise bike. We were excited and brought it into the apartment to put it together. We opened the box and there were a million pieces to it. We looked at each other like man it's already 11:00pm and we want to put this together...Anyways, we ended up assembling it that same night. I am proud to say that we did a fine job and that it didn't break when we used it! Atleast it's been fine so far. Who knows?

One more thing, my nephew is so CUTE! he makes me laugh. He wouldn't talk to me the other day, so I told him I would give him a present if he talked to me on the phone. Now every time he talks to me he wants to know when he gets his Iron Man. Kids don't forget things, so make sure you tell them the truth! I plan to buy it this weekend and he should be here in about two weeks. He reminds me daily to buy it!

It's Been Forever!

I know I know you are all probably wondering where and what we have been up to. Well first off, after graduation I started a new job at Maxim Health Care Services as a sales recruiter. The job takes alot of my time. I work 60+ hours a week. Even more sometimes. We are a supplemental health care staffing agency. So since health care professionals are on call 24/7 we have to rotate on call throughout the week and weekends. I am just getting adjusted to the new schedule in my life. I tell you what life after school isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Matt has been laid off from work for the last month and a half and it has been extremely hard on him and us. It's good that he has Miley to keep him busy during the day, and I am not going to lie it makes my life a little easier as he helps feed, clean and play with her while I am at work. But Matt has been applying for jobs all over. The economy is really slow right now. Although,he has had many interviews which is a good thing I hope God helps Matt find one soon.I dont want to complanin to much since we both are able to still pay bills with ease and we both are healthy. We knew marriage would be tough the first year, but it seems like adversity is always thrown are way. I guess what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. I really miss all my friends. Expecially Victoria, Amber and Kilee. Victoria is expecting her first baby, and I can not explain how excited I am! I am so happy for her and Joe. I know they will have the cutest baby ever. I want to wish them all the love and happiness. Amber also got promoted and became a manager at her work, so she has been busy too. Kilee made a semi pro soccer team in Sacramento,CA. All of these new and wonderful things in my friends life and mine makes it hard to stay in touch. I love and miss you all very much and support everything you do.On the topic of friends, I have met some really nice people at my new job. They are all really nice and we all seem to have similar interests. Today was a beautiful day and my sister, Travis and Lino were in town this weekend. We went to the ZOO. I love the ZOO i am one of those people who will be going to the ZOO even into my late years of life. I really love animals and children, they are just the neatest gifts of God's love. At the ZOO we witnessed a turkey pecking the brain of another turkey and it was still alive. It made me so sad, and we called someone to come and help the turkey but it was to late. It really made me cry. I know that this post is all meshed together but I am just typing as thoughts come to me. March 14th is my parents Anniversary. They are in Wendover at a slot machine tournament. My parents are amazing and they are going on 43 years of love and happiness! I have to tell ya, 43 years is a hell of a long time. I am very proud of them both. Oh, by the way I am looking for an indoor soccer team to play with, so if anyone is playing let me know? It is 3:35 AM and I am waiting for the U of U to put their morning shifts in so I can go to bed. I have to write a million other things and post some pics, so I will do that soon. It was my nephews bday and I have some pics to post of that etc.

Thanksgiving, U of U vs. BYU Game,Train rides, Santa and Puppy Love

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and boy does the time fly by. I haven't even talked about how nice my Thanksgiving was. Early in the morning I went for a run and then played football with the boys. My husband arranged a football game, with some friends and family. It was fun to play with everyone. After my dad and mom made dinner. It was so good. My dad is by far the best cook ever. He loves to make food. My mom bought this expensive wine for all of us to drink, and it was nasty. We all hated it. To bad we opened it, could have sold it to someone. Thanksgiving is really a wonderful time to spend with family and friends. I truly appreciate all that I have.
Here is a pic of the delicious turkey prepared by my dad.
The U of U BYU game was so fun. Every year Matt and I watch it with our clothes friends. We love to chill with everyone. We get all hyped up. Here are a few pics from that day. Good thing the Utes won:) Yah! After the game we decided to go cosmic bowling. Boy do I need some practice.Pic of the guys at the bowling alley and me and my honey. We also went to This is the Place Heritage Park, while my nephew and some friends and family were intown. My nephew and Brenlee were in love with the train rides and with Santa. We had fun, and made little countdown to X-mas bags. Here is some pics of the two love birds...they are the cutest example of puppy love.

They grow so fast!

Miley is growing so fast. Yesterday was the first time she set her little paws on the snow. She was scared at first. My dad comes and lets her our for a potty break during the day. He said she looked at him like, "what the hell is this stuff?" She is too cute. When I got home I took her for a walk and she tries to jump in the snow where people have made footprints already. She keeps Matt and I entertained. Matt just adores her. The other day, Matt came in and said "hi beautiful" and I thought he was talking to me so I said "hi honey" and he looks at me and says "not you, Miley". That little twirp, but I still love him:)

Here is a picture I took yesterday of Miley. She is getting so big.
Look how big her tummy is. She sprawls out all the time now.
